Q:Why isn't a domain mandatory?

A:A website builder account is tied to the Website Builder user, not necessarily to a specific domain name. Your customer can start building a website before they have decided on a domain name. You can have multiple website builder accounts using the same domain.

Example: domain.com/sales and domain.com/info can be built with two separate Website builder accounts, though they shae the domain.com name.

The domain name can be edited at any time in the 'Edit your profile/Account' section of the website builder control center.

Q:Where do my customers go to build their website?

A:You can view these details via the RWI2 interface.

Select 'Manage brand details' under the Website Builder Tab.

Select the 'edit' link located beside your brand name to view your "Login URL".

If you have not yet created a brand please see the New User Guide for details.

Q:What happens if I cancel an account?

A:Once an account has been canceled your customer will not be able to access the control center, though the website itself will remain active.

Q:What is export site?

A:Export Site allows your customer to obtain a zipped copy their website that can be edited without use of the Website Builder. (ie front page)

This function is normally used if your customer is leaving the website builder service. This is not the same as canceling their account. Export Site will put the .zip file of their website as a link inside their control center.

Q:What happens if I cancel an account before exporting it?

A:The export function can only be used on active accounts.
Once the account has been canceled your customer will not be able to access the control center.

For this reason it is highly recommended to export before canceling.

Q:Can a brand be deleted?

A:Once created a brand can not be deleted.

Marking a brand as inactive in the RWI2 interface will remove that brand from the list of active brands for new account orders, but any existing customers must be able to login to manage their site at that brands URL.

Q:Why can't a package be downgraded?

A:Downgrades cannot be processed in order to ensure compatibility with packages with lesser feature sets.

In most cases, downgrading from a high package to a smaller package would cause issues of incompatibility with features not present in the lesser package.

Q:Why can't my customer change their FTP settings?

A:FTP settings can be managed by the service provider only. This will ensure that your customer can not move to a different hosting provider but still use your web site builder service.

Q:What if I want to move my customers from one brand to another?

A:Unfortunately Website Builder accounts are tied to the brand they were ordered with, and the only way to move to a new brand is to publish the site and re-order an account under the new brand. The published site can then be used as a guide to rebuild the site under the new brand.

Q:If a user exports a site with shop pages, do they remain functional?

A:The shop features will work even when the user cancels the service
but provided they continue to have the payment gateway account.

Normally, the shop page submits to website builder server side program
to send a mail to the user before redirecting it to payment gateway. If
the accout is cancelled then it will still submit to the website builder
account but mail will not be sent but will be redirected to payment
gateway.

If the user cancels the account they can edit their shop page to POST
the shopping cart details to the relavent payment gateway URL directly
provided in the form field "hid_gateway_url" in "gateway_order.html"
page instead of posting website builder account.

Note: If the user exports the site but still had the account active, all
the pages will work as normal.
